What does AI use from a Project?
When you choose a Project, its saved Variables can fill compatible prompt inputs. Adding a file or Page to Resources does not automatically send it to AI. Connect the content through a Variable, a prompt input, or the Chat’s sources when you want to use it.
How is a Project different from a Page?
A Page gives content a custom layout. A Project adds reusable Variables, organized sections, prompt readiness, tasks, and a place to return to ongoing work. You can keep Pages inside a Project as worksheets or reference material.
What happens when I use someone else’s Project?
Use this Project previews what becomes your private copy, what stays connected, and what is left out. By default, Pages and Todos are copied, while prompts and reference material stay connected. Creators can change eligible items’ copy settings. Chats, results, and related Projects are excluded from the new instance.
Can the same content belong to several Projects?
Yes. Adding an existing Circle to a Project references it without moving or copying it. The original keeps its access settings. Connected content can be reused across Projects, and edits to the original remain visible wherever you have access.
Can one Project reuse another Project’s Variables?
Yes, through an explicitly chosen parent. Linking a Related Project alone does not merge its Variables. You can also change inputs for one prompt use without editing the saved Project values.
What becomes visible when I publish a Project?
Written Project Variables are visible on a public Project. Connected Circles retain their own access settings. Publishing checks included content and reusable Variable definitions; sharing a definition shares its field structure and help text, not someone’s private saved values. Review the Project’s actual values before publishing.
