Give AI Prompt Circles the reference files they need, then carry those files into the next step.

AI Prompt Circles now accept File variables

In the AI Prompt Circle editor, add a File variable when a prompt needs a document, image, or other attachment. Choose Any file or Images only, then fill the prompt by uploading a file or picking an existing one. The file travels with the variable instead of being reduced to a plain text value.

Prompt and Template editors keep attachment rules clear

In the AI Prompt and Template editing surfaces, File variables show their allowed-file setting and attachment controls in the same place as the other variable types. You can revise the rule before saving, and existing prompts continue to behave safely when they do not have the new setting.

AI Chat receives the files you chose

When you launch AI Chat from a prompt with File variables, the selected attachments are sent with the first message. In the chat thread, images appear as previews and other files appear as named links, so you can open the reference material while reviewing the conversation.

Copy Prompt brings the attachments along

After using Copy Prompt on an AI Prompt Circle, a follow-up panel lists the attached files. Drag a file into a compatible AI app, download it, or copy an image to the clipboard. The prompt text remains easy to copy separately, and the panel explains that files are added manually in the destination app.

Link Circles show more useful previews

When you create or edit a Link Circle, the preview now handles more kinds of public pages and gives the Circle a clearer title, description, image, or site identity when that information is available. You can recognize the link before opening it and update the preview when the source changes.

Search, Todo, and public pages get supporting polish

Across Search Circles, Todo Circles, Circle headers, and public profile pages, supporting refinements make filters, headers, avatars, and discovery routes more consistent. You can move between these surfaces with fewer confusing states while the main attachment and link-preview improvements do the heavy lifting.

These changes make reference-heavy prompts easier to build, send to AI Chat, and reuse in other tools.
