Alex Hormozi's guide to marketing:

● Clarity over Cleverness: The language used should be easily understood, aiming for a grade level as low as third grade. Using simple language helps both beginners and experts grasp the message.

● Focus on Pain Points: Sales copy should articulate the prospect's pain accurately. By showing an understanding of the prospect's problems, you can persuade them that your offer is the solution.

● Specificity: Call outs should be as specific as possible to attract the right audience. When you get really specific about the type of customer you're really trying to attract, they are more likely to respond.

● Value-Driven: The offer should be so compelling that people feel stupid saying no. The focus should be on the value provided, not just the price. A "Grand Slam Offer" is one that is differentiated and incomparable.

● Metaphors and Analogies: Using metaphors and analogies can help prospects understand complex ideas by relating them to something familiar. Make sure that the analogies you use are relevant to your target audience.

● Proof and Social Proof: Provide proof of your claims through statistics, client testimonials, or personal experience. Social proof, like customer reviews and ratings, can increase trust and conversion rates.

● Personalization: Personalizing the sales message to the prospect can increase the perceived value of the offer. For example, make CTAs about how you will help them apply the information to their business or life.

● Storytelling: Use stories to make your content more engaging and memorable. Also, incorporate stories into your content to better translate what good looks like.

● Use of Lists and Steps: Using lists and steps can help to keep people watching and engaged with your content.

● Urgency and Scarcity: Create a sense of urgency and scarcity to make the offer more desirable. This can increase the likelihood that people will want to buy.

● Authenticity: Sales material should be authentic and not try to be something it isn't. For example, don't try to make automation seem like a real person.

● Clear Call to Action: The sales material should have a clear call to action that guides the prospect on what to do next. When making a CTA, it should be about personalization and not about getting more stuff.

● Emphasize speed and ease: The faster and easier you can make it for a customer to get the promised outcome, the more valuable your offer becomes.

● Address Risk: Make your offer risk-free to increase the perceived likelihood of achievement.

● Conviction: Sales copy should be written and delivered with conviction, which comes from a genuine belief in the product or service.

● Name Offers Effectively: Naming offers in a way that resonates with the target audience is important, because half-assed naming can ruin conversions.

● Use of Bonuses: Use bonuses to enhance the perceived value of your core offer. Bonuses should be something that is short in length but high in quality or value.

● Consistency: A seamless experience between a customer's click and call can dramatically increase close rates. The questions you ask can also frame how you exist in the marketplace to a prospect before you begin selling.

● Compelling headlines: Use the magic headline formula for each item in your stack and bundle. It will automatically enhance the value of your offerings simply by naming it in a way that resonates with your prospects.

● Follow a Script: There should be a script that is followed for all sales calls. This helps sales people to stay on point with the process. The script should also have a tone guide with it so sales people are reading it with the correct emphasis, tone and pacing.

● Focus on Prospect: The sales process should be focused on the prospect, not the product. Spend the majority of the time trying to understand the pains of the prospect.
